What I like most about Veterinary Medicine:  Working to improve the quality of pet’s lives is probably the most fulfilling aspect of veterinary medicine.

Areas of interest: General, orthopedic, reconstructive, and microvascular surgery. Dr. Ablin's research interests and publications are on canine oncologic surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, feline surgery and experimental cardiovascular surgery. She was a clinical assistant professor in surgery at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine and on staff at the Angell Memorial Animal Hospital from 1989 to 1997 She is a member of the Veterinary Orthopedic Society, the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Illinois State Veterinary medical Association. She has been in the practice for over 20 years.
