Veterinarians – Specialists and Emergency
Veterinary Specialty Center is a leader in specialty medicine and is known throughout the United States for the quality and compassionate care we provide. We continue to add specialists in existing departments as well as adding new specialties as we continue to set the bar on the quality of care we provide.
We are looking for residency-trained or board-certified specialist in a variety of areas to join our expanding practice.
Veterinary Specialty Center has a 24-hour emergency room at our main location in Buffalo Grove. Our veterinarians also staff and manage the emergency room at VSC at Illinois in the Illinois Medical District of Chicago (two miles west of the loop). Emergency-trained veterinarians are needed to work at both of those locations.
Licensed Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants
Our technicians work closely with our doctors on a variety of cases and play an integral role in the care of our patients. We seek highly qualified individuals with extensive experience in veterinary medicine. Our technicians have a deep love of what they do and for the pets under their care and a caring attitude for people and a deep love of what they do and for the pets under their care.
Our ward attendants or kennel assistants play an important role in the day-to-day care of our patients. This is a great position if you have a passion for pets and for medicine along with a high work ethic and a keen desire to learn. We encourage our ward attendants to expand their potential by moving to other positions within the hospital.
Our client services personnel are the first people that greet you when you walk in the door or answer the phone when you call. They are here to assist you whether your case is an emergency, you need to schedule an appointment or if you need to learn more about our specialties and how to prepare for that visit. We are always looking for compassionate, caring and hard-working individuals that are people-oriented and have a passion for pets.
