Dr. Rhonda Feinmehl

Dr. Feinmehl is originally from Skokie, IL. After graduating from the University Of Illinois College Of Veterinary Medicine in 1990, Dr. Feinmehl completed a 3 year rotating internship and residency in small animal oncology and internal medicine at the Animal Medical Center in New York, NY.

In 1994 Rhonda returned to Illinois and immediately came to work at Veterinary Specialty Clinic. She has been director of the internal medicine service since that time. Dr. Feinmehl is a member of the board of directors of Veterinary Specialty Center and played an integral role in the design and development of VSC when we moved in 2001. She was a key figure in the development of our state-of-the art intensive care and emergency services and now is director of internal medicine and emergency/critical care.

Dr. Feinmehl loves practicing clinical medicine. She is proud to provide cutting edge care with the kindness and compassion that drives us all to be a part of this terrific profession.

When she is not practicing medicine or leading the medicine and emergency departments into the future, she enjoys spending time with her children, husband, and dogs and cat.
