What I like most about Veterinary Medicine: I became a Veterinarian because the bond that animals and their human guardians share fascinates me. Even though our patients can't speak they all have a story and an important place in somebody's life. It is the improvement and preservation of that bond that makes my job so great.

Areas of interest: While I enjoy all aspects of veterinary surgery, mostly cancer and soft tissue. I am also one of the surgeons working with minimally invasive techniques such as arthroscopy, laparoscopy and thoracoscopy.

Other interests: When I am not at the hospital I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring all that Chicagoland has to offer. Although a transplant since 1994, I still maintain my loyalty to New York sports teams.
