Barnum
To our friends at the Veterinary Specialty Center,
Words cannot express our gratitude for your kindness and swift action to help us get Barnum the help he needed.
Before bringing our sick cat Barnum to Golf Rose Animal Hospital on Sunday, July 10, we felt very helpless and scared for Barnum. Thanks to Dr. Kristin McClure and the rest of her team Barnum was diagnosed with a cardiac arrhythmia and we were referred to Dr. Michael Luethy, a cardiologist at the Chicago Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center.
The next day we made the decision to have a pacemaker implanted for Barnum’s
heart. The surgery was done at the Veterinary Specialty Center in Buffalo Grove by Kelly Wessberg and her team.
Barnum has since recovered very quickly and is back to his kitty self: wagging and shaking his tail, rolling in the sunshine knotting his fur, begging for pizza, opening the kitchen cupboards, knocking over trash cans and basically being up to no good.
Barnum’s character and mischief is why we love him, so thank you for helping us save him.
Sincerely,
Barnum’s family
