Veterinary Specialty Center is proud to announce that Maria VonderHaar, DVM, CVA, CVSMT is now a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) after completing the award-winning program at the University of Tennessee. Other cutting-edge modalities will also include cold laser therapy, acoustic compression therapy (sound waves), ultrasonic therapy and transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS).
Dr. VonderHaar graduated from the University of Missouri with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She then went on to study acupuncture at Tufts University, Chinese Herbal Study at A Time to Heal, Veterinary Chiropractic at Options for Animals and Veterinary Spinal Manipulation at The Healing Oasis. She is licensed as a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) through the American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture (AAVA) and the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS).
