This is not a substitute for our examination and consultation, but we understand that sometimes this is more convenient for the family. Please remember that our priority, like yours, is the patients currently under our care at Veterinary Specialty Center. It can sometimes take several days to a week to respond to submitted lab tests, and we will respond to you by fax or email.

Please do not suggest that the owner call our office to discuss labs done at your office. It is impossible for us to keep up with phone calls when this happens. If the patient is doing poorly or you feel the patient needs immediate attention from one of our doctors, please recommend that the patient’s family make a follow-up appointment or come to our emergency department for evaluation.
