Half Day Road/Route 22 Road Closure
Road closure from June 7th - June 14th at the train crossing and Waukegan Road.
Route 22/Half Day Road will be closed between Telegraph Road and Waukegan Road for railroad track construction from Wednesday, June 7th at 9 am until Thursday, June 15th at 5 pm. Please plan accordingly.
Alternate routes from the expressway –
From the North –
Take I-94 (Tri-State Tollway) south to the Route 60 exit.
Turn left (east) on Route 60.
Continue to Waukegan Road and turn right (south).
Continue south to Veterinary Specialty Center at 2051 Waukegan Road on the left side of the road.
From the South –
Take I-294 north to the Deerfield Road exit.
Turn right onto Deerfield Road.
Continue to IL-43/Waukegan Road and turn left.
Continue north to Veterinary Specialty Center at 2051 Waukegan Road on the right side of the road.
Turn right onto Deerfield Road.
Continue to IL-43/Waukegan Road and turn left.
Continue north to Veterinary Specialty Center at 2051 Waukegan Road on the right side of the road.
Note: Allow extra time from this direction because there are lane reductions on Waukegan Road for a water main project just south of VSC.
