“I have been enamored with all aspects of nature from the beginning. Many of my earliest memories involve time spent with pets or exploring all the critters South Florida has to offer. I found a perfect fit combining nature and science with veterinary medicine in high school and have not looked back since. 

My interest in and passion for surgery was piqued from the first anatomy class I attended. This passion for surgery burgeoned during my clinical year and was only reinforced during my time at VCA South Shore. I love the complexity of the body and the role of the surgeon in fixing abnormalities and guiding the body back toward healing itself. I have s a particular interest in cardiothoracic surgery and surgery in non-traditional pets such as reptiles and birds.”
