“I decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine so that I can not only help the animals directly in my care but also improve their welfare by changing how we work with them and the tools we use. Animals are more than just pets—they are family members and vital sources of support. My goal as a veterinarian is to ensure these cherished companions lead long, healthy lives.

I have always been passionate about working with my hands and excelled in hands-on tasks. In veterinary school, I loved applying what I learned in the classroom to the operating room. Surgery, like life, is a continual journey of learning. Invention and keeping current with new technology are at the frontline of improving health options for all creatures. I
feel truly blessed to use my skills, alongside those I continue to develop, to improve the well-being of all animals.”
