“I have always wanted to be a veterinarian as long as I can remember. I remember always telling my mom how much I loved animals and wanting to help them. As I got older, that did not change. I wanted to be the voice for those who could not speak and help educate their owners.

During undergraduate school, I shadowed at the general practice back home. I enjoyed the surgical procedures the most during my 4 years there. However, my passion for surgery did not really start until my first year in veterinary school. I fell in love with Anatomy. My passion for surgery continued to grow as I did multiple internships at specialty hospitals. I grew to learn how much I can treat animals with surgery.”
