Donation Program

Veterinary Specialty Center’s Donation Program for Continuing Education Admission

Veterinary Specialty Center has been providing continuing education programs for free to the Chicagoland veterinary community to thank you for your referrals. While we are continuing this tradition going forward, we are asking that you join us in giving back to local organizations.

As part of our ongoing contributions to people in need in our community, we have been collecting toiletries and other items to donate to Lake County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)Center on Halsted, Luggage for Freedom and A Safe Place. All four of these organizations help people leave abusive situations as they prepare for the next stage of their lives.

We have been collecting travel-sized (similar to what you get at a hotel) versions of the following as part of our drive.

  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Soap
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Lotion
  • Lip Balm
  • Deodorant
  • Tooth Paste
  • Tooth Brushes
  • Razors
  • Shaving Cream
  • Razors
  • Socks
  • Feminine Hygiene Products
  • Hand and Foot Warmers

Please bring your donation to the registration area at any of our continuing education programs. Please do not donate opened/slightly used items. If you have any questions, please email Kathy Mordini at kmordini@vetspecialty.com.

Starting Monday, April 8th through the end of September, the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will begin their road resurfacing project along Waukegan Road from Lake Cook Road to Half Day Road (IL 22). Please allow additional travel time to our hospital during the construction. Learn More: Waukegan Road Resurfacing Project
