I wanted to become a veterinarian because I have a deep love of science, research, and continual learning. I also wanted to provide a voice to the voiceless and have always enjoyed watching my veterinary mentors establish strong relationships with their clients and pets.
I really enjoy orthopedics, especially fracture repairs, because you get to approach them like puzzles which I thoroughly enjoy. You can prepare and plan how you’d like to fix the fracture, but sometimes you never truly know until once you’re in the OR.
