September and October's core value of the month is Be Amazing!
November nomination ballots are now open! We will again be highlighting our core value "Be Amazing." When we talk about being amazing, it means more than the medicine that we practice at VSC. It is bringing our A-game each day when we assist our clients, patients, and our coworkers. It is also about passionately pursuing our best performance and truly enjoying what we do.
Let us know who exemplifies this core value the most throughout our hospital, and let us know why you think your nominee should be the winner! Nomination cards have been placed by the bulletin board and upstairs by the fridges.
Anniversaries
The Anniversary Subcommittee is an extension of the Rewards and Recognition Committee and is dedicated to honoring the longevity of our amazing employees. We host a quarterly, hospital-wide luncheon to highlight individuals who are celebrating milestone anniversaries (5 years, 10 year, 15 years, 20 years, etc.). Can't wait to see you there!

This is a year-round initiative to help lighten the load of many in our community. With the everyday struggles many families face to put food on the table, the R&R Committee searched for ways to make a difference. We found Rebecca Chobat, aka The Dollar Tree Meals Lady (@dollartreedinners). Rebecca's mission is to make home-cooked meals feel accessible, realistic, and empowering. She creates recipes and meal plans that prioritize affordability without sacrificing comfort, creativity, or dignity.
