Rewards & Recognition Committee
Meet Our April Employee of the Month!
April Core Value: π Giving Back π
JaniceΒ is described as the true definition ofΒ giving back as someone who lifts others up, brings joy to the workplace, and gives endlessly to those around her!
She is also known for going above and beyond without being asked, whether it's supporting the ICU, assisting her co-workers, or providing excellent care to patients by showing up to each shift with a positive attitude and a how can I helpΒ mindset! π
Janice reminds us of how meaningful small gestures can be, like handing out strawberry cream savers to brighten someone's day!
We are incredibly lucky to have you as a part of the VSC team!
Thank you for continuing to live out our core values every day!
Congratulations to Janie Choe!Β π
Coming Up: May's Employee of the Month
May and June's core value of the month is also Common Sense!
"At VSC we encourage everyone on our team to think and act like owners, and we strive to deal sensibly and realistically with our coworkers instead of taking the easy way out. We are finding that excellence and perfection are not the same thing and that accepting feedback and asking more questions brings us all to a higher level. That often means thinking through a few extra steps when you're helping someone out and always standing by our corporate core values."
Let us know who exemplifies this core value the most throughout our hospital, and let us know why you think your nominee should be the winner!
Anniversaries
The Anniversary Subcommittee is an extension of the Rewards and Recognition Committee and is dedicated to honoring the longevity of our amazing employees. We host a quarterly, hospital-wideΒ luncheon to highlight individuals who are celebrating milestone anniversaries (5 years, 10 year, 15 years, 20 years, etc.). Can't wait to see you there!
