4th Year Scholarship and ER Training Opportunity

VSC has an exciting opportunity to 4th year students interested in emergency medicine!

Veterinary Specialty Center understands the importance of emergency and critical care medicine. The veterinary profession has a shortage of qualified ER vets. In order to meet this challenge, we are excited to provide an opportunity for a student aspiring to have a career as an emergency clinician. We are looking for a senior veterinary student who would like to join our emergency team following graduation. To demonstrate our commitment to diversity and inclusion, VSC will extend this opportunity to an under-represented student.

Who we are

Veterinary Specialty Center (VSC) is a state-of-the-art multidisciplinary teaching hospital located 30 miles outside of Chicago. We believe collaborative medicine is vital to provide the best outcome for our patients. Our multispecialty team delivers exceptional care, and daily, we lean on each other for support. One component of our team is the emergency and critical care service. The emergency and critical care department is composed of highly trained and skilled individuals who work together to deliver care to ill or injured pets.
