Clients with pets that have non-emergency eye issues should call Eye Care For Animals directly at (847) 250-6933 to schedule an appointment.

However, their board-certified ophthalmologists, as well as their residents, are on-call for us 24 hours a day, 365 days per year for all ophthalmic medical or surgical emergencies that may arise. Depending on the case, they are available for either phone consultations, in-hospital evaluations or emergent referrals to their clinic.  We typically receive a consult from them within 10 minutes (or less) by phone and, if needed, can have an in-house consultation within the hour.

ECFA operates the largest non-university ophthalmology residency program in the world.  They are dedicated to providing the finest in veterinary ophthalmology services. Their staff of board-certified ophthalmologists and clinical specialists provide the highest level of care, education and understanding to clients, their pets and referring veterinarians.
