The board-certified ophthalmologists of Eye Care for Animals, as well as their residents, are on-call for us 24 hours a day, 365 days per year for all ophthalmic medical or surgical emergencies that may arise. Depending on the case, they are available for either phone consultations, in-hospital evaluations, or emergent referrals to their clinic. We typically receive a consult from them within 10 minutes (or less) by phone and, if needed, can have an in-house consultation for your pet within the hour.
