I’ve wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as I can remember. I was drawn to the combination of critical thinking, problem-solving, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for both patients and their families. Surgery became my passion because it allows me to combine those interests while making an immediate impact on a patient’s quality of life.
My primary interests are traumatic orthopedics and surgical oncology. I enjoy the challenge of restoring function after traumatic injuries, as well as helping cancer patients improve their quality of life through surgery. Whether surgery provides additional time with their families or a cure, I find it incredibly rewarding to improve both quality of life and long-term outcomes for my patients. I also love that surgery challenges me to continually improve my surgical skills and expand my knowledge as new techniques and procedures continue to evolve.
