I have wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as I can remember. My childhood dog and the bond we shared inspired me to become a veterinarian. When I started working at veterinary clinics and realized that I would be able to advocate for my patients’ health and well-being, I knew this was the career for me. I love being able to recognize both my patients’ and their families’ needs and protect their bond through trust and communication.
I have interests in cardiology, medical oncology, and emergency medicine. I enjoy the long-term relationships that develop with both patients and owners through cardiology and oncology as we work together to manage their conditions. On the other hand, I enjoy the fast-paced, varied environment of emergency medicine, which requires me to adapt and challenge myself while helping patients during some of their most critical moments.
