Surgery and Emergency Medicine
I have wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as I can remember. Initially, it was my love for animals that drew me in, but over time I began to appreciate the field for the way it allows me to think critically, solve problems, and combine my interests in science, animals, and people. I particularly value the relationships built with clients and the opportunity to work alongside them to provide the best possible care for their animals.
I am particularly interested in surgery and emergency medicine. During veterinary school, I really enjoyed the hands-on nature of surgery and the problem solving involved in managing each individual case. I also love the fast-paced and dynamic environment of emergency medicine, especially the opportunity to think quickly, adapt under pressure, and work closely with a team to help patients when they need it most. Supporting both animals and their owners during stressful situations is one of the most rewarding aspects of the job for me.
